Vadim Ogneshchikov joined UFG Asset Management in 2007 and is responsible for investment analysis and Russian public markets equity and fixed income strategies. He has experience in managing and advising on investment portfolios for leading asset management institutions since 1995.
Prior to joining UFG Asset Management, Mr. Ogneshchikov worked as a fund manager at the Evli Greater Russia Fund, the Russian equity product of the Evli Group, a leading Nordic investment bank. During the years 1997 to 2004, Mr. Ogneshchikov was employed by the Hansabank Group as a fund manager at the Hansa Russian Equity Fund. Prior to that, he managed investment portfolios at the Estonian Savings Bank and the Estonian Bank for Industry and Construction.
Mr. Ogneshchikov graduated from the Technical University of Tallinn with a degree in Economics.
Vadim Palamarchuk joined UFG Asset Management in early 2014. Mr. Palamarchuk is responsible for analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, both in fixed income and equity space, with a focus on the Russian market.
Prior to joining UFG Asset Management, Mr. Palamarchuk worked as a fixed income analyst at Promsvyazbank, covering Russian fixed income universe. In 2012–2013, he held a similar position at IFC Metropol, where he was responsible for coverage of the power utilities sector. Mr. Palamarchuk started his career with Otkritie Capital in late 2009.
Mr. Palamarchuk holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Financial Markets from the Higher School of Economics (Faculty of Economics).
