Mikhail Mishustin
President of UFG Asset Management

Joined UFG Asset Management as President in March 2008. Prior to UFG, he worked as Head of the Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones (RosOEZ) (2006-2008), Head of the Federal Real Estate Cadastre Agency (2004-2006) (created a united system of registering real estate objects, finished mass land assessment, compiled all the assessment register and cadastre lists on all land plots in Russia, allowing Russia to introduce a new Land Tax in 2006), as well as Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation on Taxation (1998-2004) (projected and implemented an automated information system on federal, regional and local levels, supervised registration of the individuals and legal entities) and in the IT sector (1988-1998). He is a graduate of the Moscow Machinery Institute (STANKIN) and holds a PhD in Economics.

Florian Fenner
Managing Partner

CFA, joined UFG Asset Management as a Managing Partner in July 2002. He is an investment manager with over ten years experience in Russia. Prior to joining UFG, he was Head of the representative office of Unifund responsible for the Russia portfolio exceeding several hundred millions of USD. He served as Deputy Head of Research at Brunswick Brokerage, one of Russia’s leading investment banks, before joining Brunswick Capital Management in 1997. He managed and co-managed several funds and managed accounts as an IMRO registered fund manager. Before coming to Russia, he worked for Schroder Munchmeyer Hengst Co., a German investment bank. Mr. Fenner is a Chartered Financial Analyst based in Moscow and speaks fluent Russian and English.

Maxim Tishin
Senior Portfolio Manager

Ph.D., joined UFG Asset Management as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in 2003. Prior to joining UFG he has earned Ph.D. in Economics from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow State University. His research was focused on applications of probability theory and mathematical statistics to financial auditing. Mr. Tishin speaks fluent English.

Vadim Ogneschikov
Senior Portfolio Manager

Joined UFG Asset Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager in 2007. He has over 10 years of experience in managing investment portfolios in leading asset management institutions. Prior to joining UFG AM he worked as a Fund Manager of Evli Greater Russia Fund, the Russian equity product of the Evli Group, a leading Nordic investment bank. During the years 1997 to 2004 Mr. Ogneschikov was employed by Hansabank Group as a Fund Manager of Hansa Russian Equity Fund. Prior to that Mr. Ogneschikov managed investment portfolios at Estonian Savings Bank and Estonian Bank for Industry and Construction. Mr. Ogneschikov graduated from the Technical University of Tallinn. He speaks fluent English and Estonian.

Polina Minkina
Portfolio Manager

Joined UFG Asset Management as Portfolio Manager in 2007. She holds a B.S. degree in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics from the Moscow State University. Her Ph.D. research is focused on optimal portfolio hedging strategies. Prior to joining UFG AM Polina worked as a Portfolio Manager for the Russian asset management company Portfolio Investments where her responsibilities included derivatives strategies implementation and portfolio management. Ms. Minkina speaks fluent English.

Yulia Steseva
Portfolio Manager

Joined UFG Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager in 2008. She holds a BSc degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and a MSc degree in Finance from Imperial College London. Prior to joining UFG AM Yulia held a position of Portfolio Manager at the Baltic asset management company Parex Asset Management where she covered Russian equities and bonds. Prior to that Yulia worked for Lloyd’s TSB Bank in London. Ms. Steseva speaks fluent English.

Ksenia Dudoladova
Portfolio Manager Assistant

Joined UFG Asset Management as Portfolio Managers Assistant in 2007. She holds a B.S. degree in Economic Theory from the State University of Human Sciences. Her diploma was focused on optimization of risky/riskless assets balance in portfolio management. She has a qualification certificate 5.0.

Olga Kravchenko
Head of Investor Relations

Ph.D., MBA, joined UFG AM in 2007 as Head of Investor Relations. Prior to joining UFG AM she worked for Deutsche Bank where she held a position of Head of Corporate and Investor Relations for about 5 years. Olga has a long time experience in marketing and investor relations from her previous employments where she was in charge of establishing direct communication with Russian businesses on behalf of international and domestic clients. Olga holds an MBA degree from the American Institute of Business and Economics and is a graduate of the Moscow State University. She speaks fluent English.
